Ashlyn Silva

I was born and raised right here on the Central Coast of California 🌊. My parents still live in the same house in Cayucos, just a block from the beach. Growing up, I spent my summers doing junior lifeguards, swimming competitively with the Cayucos Swim Team and Puma Aquatics, and even braving my first jump off the Cayucos pier when I was only six years old!

My roots run deep here — from Cayucos Elementary to Coast Union High and Cuesta College, where I played varsity softball, volleyball, and basketball. At 21, I began my State Farm Insurance career, working as a team member for a well-established agency in North County San Luis Obispo. I quickly became the lead Farm and Ranch insurance producer 🚜, and for the past nine years I’ve had the privilege of helping families protect what matters most with life, auto, home, renters, business, liability, and even motorcycle insurance 🏍️. Problem solving is something I pride myself in 💡 — my team and I look at the full picture to create customized protection plans that let families feel secure and focus on their dreams 🌟.

We’re proud to call the Village of Arroyo Grande home. In our free time, we love kayaking at Shell Beach 🚣, running along the sand in Pismo 🏃‍♀️, and letting my daughter dip her toes in the surf at Avila Beach 👣. Fall is an especially magical time here — from the Arroyo Grande Valley Harvest Festival in September, with its pumpkin challenge, live music, and community spirit 🎃, to the Open Studios Art Tour in October, where local artists open their doors for inspiring afternoons of creativity. We also love checking out seasonal pumpkin patches, apple pie challenge, and Halloween fun across San Luis Obispo County 🍁. This time of year is all about celebrating the harvest, enjoying the crisp coastal air, and supporting the local events that make our community so special.
